ELIGIBILITY

The basic requirements as compiled in the following guide to assist our client in the first step of
enjoying a good life in Malaysian.

A) Be Financially Strong

Successful applicants required to comply with the following financial criteria upon receipt of the `conditional                
approval letter ' from Malaysia Immigration Department.

i) Aged Below 50 years old (Upon Approval Obtained)

Open a fixed deposit account of RM300,000.00 in a Malaysian Bank

(After a period of one year, the participant can withdraw up to RM150,000.00 for approved expenses relating to         
house purchase, education for children in Malaysia and medical purposes)
Must maintain a minimum balance of RM150,000.00 from second year onwards and throughout stay in Malaysia         
  under this program.

ii) Aged 50 years and above ( Upon approval Obtained)

Can either choose to:
-
   Open a fixed deposit account of RM150,000.00 ;

OR - Show proof of qualified monthly off-shore income of RM10,000.00 per month
   such as pension scheme
(Only applicants who are drawing from Government Approved Funds will             
    be considered to have fulfilled the   " Monthly off - Shore Income " criteria.)

(After a period of one year, participant who fulfills the fixed deposit criteria can withdraw up to RM50,000.00 for
approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children in Malaysia and medical purposes.)

Participant must maintain a minimum balance of RM100,000.00 from the second year onwards and throughout stay
in Malaysia under this program.

iii) Applicant interested to stay in Sarawak

Must be over 50 years old

Single participant must have RM 7,000 in off-shore income and open a fixed deposit account of
RM100,000.00;

Particiant with spouse must have RM 10,000 in off-shore income and open a fixed deposit account of
RM150,000.00

No withdrawal of fixed deposit is allowed.

Note:

1 ) Successful applicants need to open their fixed deposits in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) only.
2) Participants need to obtain prior approval from Ministry of Tourism before proceed to withdraw the fixed deposit
3) Participants under this program may withdraw their entire fixed deposit anytime should they decide to terminate      
    their stay in Malaysia under this program. However, they must obtain prior approval from the Ministry of Tourism.

B) Serious Intention

Applicant must demonstrate that they have a purpose in Malaysia, and the purpose CAN NOT be to seek                   
employment in Malaysia. Participants under Malaysia My Second Home Program are not allowed to work / be              
employed while staying in Malaysia. They can retire in Malaysia, invest in Malaysia or for the education of their           
children. When
ARTAMULIA is convinced that our clients are seriously intend to participate in Malaysia My                 
Second Home Program, we are willing to submit a personal bond as a guarantee to the Malaysian Government to
support the application of our clients. Of course, we will also assist our clients to prepare their individual                     
documentations, to ensure conformity to the stated requirements and conditions of the Malaysian Government.

C) Healthily Independent
Applicant would need to be healthy enough to enjoy a smooth transition to life in Malaysia, Thus the following             
submission is required to support the application:

Medical Report

All applicants and their dependents (spouse and children) are required to submit a medical report from any                
private hospital / registered clinic in Malaysia.

Medical Insurance

Approved participants and dependents (spouse and children) must possess a valid medical insurance policy              
which is applicable in Malaysia. However, for participants or
dependents who are rejected by the insurance        
company because of age factor, we can ask for a waiver of this requirement. (Updated 17 March

D) Adaptable to The Malaysian Life
Nonetheless, life without employment or a full-time job in Malaysia can be quite challenging, but some participants  
invest and run their own businesses
while others become active volunteers in charitable organization, while
others finally able to pursue their lifetime personal interest, such as authoring a book. All in all, they should not
participate in activities that can be considered as sensitive to the local people and a threat to the security of the
country.
